Leaving work
Time to go home. These lines drawn with snow and concret right outside our office building is kind of nice, but not well captured with this camera. But the rest I had today was even more crappy - that's the curse of doing this onceaday thing. In other news, tomorrow I will og to a funeral for a son of some friends. He died of an overdose way to young, only 25 years old. I don't know him that well lately, but he used to be a nice guy. It is terrible that things like that happen - and it happens all the time in this world So, stay away from the drugs.

40 years
By accident, I have uploaded something wrong in my onceaday series.
The entry for 24.02 was actually taken on 25.02 - so it's invalid. I
am so sorry! But this one is from 24, as I know my sister was 40 on
that day, and this is a shot from the party. She is in the background
with her youngest daughter. By the way, I should mention she is the
mother of 10 (yes, that is ten) kids. I admire her!

Spices
There is no good history to this one. It's the last day of the vacation, we have to clean up the cabin and go home. But before we do that we will have some family for dinner. To make dinner, you will need something from the grocery. And in the grocery at the resort, Maximum, they have spices. Not so strange. Tomorrow I og back to the normal routine - that's good too!

Apple
Need some supplies! These are some apples at the REMA 1000 grocery
store in Stokke where I went to get what we need for the week. Today
it was quite cold, and we had some snow; nice weather for the kids
who want to play in the snow, but not so great for good photos. I
have a few on the 350D I want to process, but I think I do that
another day.

After the fire
Last night the engine on the jacuzzi suddenly caught fire. I manage
to get rid of the fire with a fire-extinguisher, but the firefighters
wanted to investigate a bit further, and teared the whole thing
apart. The engine was located under the tub, in the back, so it was
hard to get to. So, now our bathroom is a big mess, but the insurance
will probably cover that. Thank God we was awake when it happend and
was able to take care of it before it become to bad.

Porridge
Todays dinner - rice porridge served hot with cinnamon, sugar and
some butter. Mmm... Good traditional food. Maybe not to fancy, but
definitly fills up your stomach. In other news, all the kids have got
some illness (the flu or something), with fever and sore throat.
It'll last a few days, and then they back to normal - such is life :)

GTD
With all this electronic abstractions, you just have to sit down with
a cup of coffee and an oldfashion notebook from time to time. The
"GTD" (Getting Things Done) movement, e.g. from the community
spinning around the lifehacker blog, suggest to use old fashioned
systems for organizing todo lists. They present a much more thorough
system than just one notebook, but I'm trying out the simplest
solution. We'll see if GTD really happens that way ;-)

Blueish cast
Need to keep some kind of schedule I guess to keep this going. In
some PaD communities it's seems to be a custom to do a selfportrait
on fridays. Maybe I should stick to that as well. Of course, crappy
camera and bad light will maybe not make it very interesting, but
let's see where it goes. Any way, that's me using the macro-function
(actually a physical slider on the lens) on my HTC TyTN/Hermes. Not
that bad when it comes to details.
